Crossmath

Objective

Fill every blank cell with a digit from 1 to 9 so that each row equals the total on the right, and each column equals the total below.

How the sums work

• Read each row left to right and each column top to bottom.
• There is no operator precedence. Do 2 + 3 × 4 as (2 + 3) × 4, not 2 + 12.
• Division is only used where it divides exactly, so every running value stays a whole number.
• Given (darker) cells are locked. You only fill the blanks.

Controls

• Tap a blank cell, then tap a number on the pad (or press 1 to 9).
• Clear, 0 or Backspace empties the cell.
• Check highlights filled cells that do not match the solution, without filling blanks. Hint fills one empty cell.

Difficulty

• Easy: 2×2, addition only, two blanks
• Classic: 3×3, addition and multiplication, four blanks
• Hard: 3×3, all four operations, six blanks

Daily challenge

Everyone receives the same seeded 3×3. It resets at midnight UK. The first solve of the day counts for the league and your streak.
