Objective
Each round hides one KS3 maths word. Read the clue, then guess letters. You may make six wrong guesses. Spell the word before the chalk figure is complete.
The words
- Easy uses short, familiar words such as prime, angle and mean.
- Classic is everyday KS3 language: fraction, equation, perimeter. The daily word is Classic.
- Hard uses longer words such as trapezium, hypotenuse and probability.
Spellings
Answers use UK spellings: factorise, metre, litre, centre and trapezium.
Hints and a clean board
A hint fills the next missing letter. Using one, or guessing a letter that is not in the word, means the round is not a clean board.
Daily challenge
Everyone receives the same Classic word. It changes at midnight UK. The first win of the day counts for the league and your streak.
