The analogy
Each question shows a change, then asks you to repeat it. Figure 1 is to figure 2 as figure 3 is to …? Pick the diagram that follows the same rule. Some rounds use a two-by-two grid: the same rule runs along each row.
What can change
- Easy: one clear change, such as colour, size, a quarter turn, a slide, double the dots, or add 3.
- Classic: mirrors, swaps, clocks, bar charts, fractions, dominos and opposite corners.
- Hard: two changes at once, squares, and “double then add 1”, with six choices.
Scoring
A round has eight analogies. 6 or more wins. All eight with no hints is a perfect round. After each answer, the rule is shown so you can compare the diagrams.
Daily challenge
Everyone receives the same eight Classic analogies until midnight UK. The first win of the day counts for the league and your streak.
