Maths Invaders

Objective

Maths problems drop from the top of the screen. Type the correct answer and press Enter (or Shoot) to destroy them before they reach the bottom.

Shooting

• There is one answer box. Your shot hits the lowest open problem that matches the number you typed.
• If two problems share an answer, the most urgent (lowest) one is destroyed.
• A wrong answer flashes and resets your combo. You do not lose a life.
• If a problem reaches the bottom, you lose one of your three lives.

Controls

• 0–9 — type the answer.
• Backspace — delete a digit.
• Enter — shoot.
• Escape — pause or resume.
• Tablets: use the on-screen number pad.

Modes

• Arcade — survival. Waves get faster and busier. Primary mode.
• Practice — stay at your chosen operation and difficulty.

Difficulty

• Easy: 2–5 times tables (or matching addition and subtraction).
• Medium: 2–10 times tables.
• Hard: 2–12 times tables, plus some two-digit questions.
