Minesweeper

Objective

Open every safe square without clicking a mine. Numbers show how many mines touch that square, including diagonals.

Controls

• Click / tap — reveal a square.
• Right-click / long-press — plant a flag (or use the Flag button on phones).
• Click a number — if the neighbouring flags match the number, the remaining neighbours open (a “chord”).
• Face button — start a fresh board of the same size.

Difficulty

• Easy: 9×9, 10 mines — a gentle introduction.
• Medium: 16×16, 40 mines — the classic intermediate field.
• Hard: 16×30, 99 mines — the original expert layout.
• Expert: 24×24, 147 mines — dense, square, and unforgiving.
• Custom: pick your own size and mine count.

Daily challenge

Everyone receives the same seeded 16×16 field, with a shared opening already cleared. It resets at midnight UK. You may retry after a loss; the first win of the day counts for the league and your streak.
