Objective
Each round has five questions. Read the sentence and the bar model, then enter the missing number. Win the round with at least 4 out of 5 first-try answers. All five with no hints is a perfect round.
Bar models
- The red part is the number you already know.
- The gold stripes show the rest of the whole.
- Number bonds ask: if the whole is this, and the red part is that, what is the rest?
Controls
- Drag the alien along the beam. The number under it updates as you move.
- Or type the answer in the box and press Submit.
- Hint fills the correct number for you, but that question cannot count toward a perfect round.
- After you submit, the next question appears, even if you were wrong.
Difficulty
- Easy: bonds to 10 or 20, and halves of even numbers up to 20.
- Classic: bonds to 100, doubles, halves, and tens and ones.
- Hard: fractions of amounts (1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5), bonds to 200, and hundreds, tens and ones.
Daily challenge
Everyone receives the same five Classic-level questions. They reset at midnight UK. The first win of the day counts for the league and your streak.
