Shape Shadows

Objective

Each round has six questions with four choices. Match the coloured shape to its black silhouette, pick the correct name, or count corners and faces. Win with at least 5 out of 6. All six with no hints is a perfect round.

Shadows and solids

• Easy: 2D shapes in colour. Match the silhouette, and sometimes count corners on a triangle, square, pentagon or hexagon.
• Classic: 3D solids. Match the 2D shadow (circle, square, rectangle or triangle) or name the solid.
• Hard: turned solids, names, and faces (a cube has 6, a cone has 2, a cylinder has 3).

British names

• Use trapezium, not trapezoid.
• A diamond with equal sides is a rhombus.
• A box that is not a cube is a cuboid.

Controls

• Tap one of the four cards. You get one shot, then the next question appears.
• Hint hides two wrong answers.
• Reset restarts the same round. New deals a fresh practice round.

Daily challenge

Everyone receives the same six Classic-level questions. They reset at midnight UK. The first win of the day counts for the league and your streak.
