Tangrams

Objective

Cover the black silhouette with all seven tans. Pieces may not overlap each other, and they should not hang outside the outline. A small snap tolerance is allowed — it does not have to be pixel-perfect.

The seven tans

When packed together they form a square. You must use every piece, once.

Controls

• Drag a piece onto the table. Nearby vertices snap together.
• Tap to select, then use Rotate left / Rotate right (45° steps). Double-tap also rotates.
• Two fingers on a selected piece to twist it, then it snaps to 45°.
• Flip turns the parallelogram over — it is the only chiral piece, so this is often the missing move.
• R rotates, Shift+R the other way, F flips, arrow keys nudge.

Modes

• Daily: everyone gets the same silhouette until midnight UK.
• Puzzles: animals, people, objects, letters and geometry — each outline is a real seven-tan packing.
• Free play: doodle, or pack the seven tans back into a square.
